Hi Robin. That’s funny because I can see all of them. I’ll log on tomorrow using a different computer and see if the problem persists…it seems to be a bit dodgy! Thanks for reading!
Wow Kat, what a wonderful project to take you from beginner to intermediate. I adore the little touches like the edging on the hem, and I love that its not your classic “cream puff” type of wedding dress. Instead its a modern, stylish dress, and I think you are going to look adorable. I can’t wait for the pictures on the day.
Beautiful!! You look really happy in/with your dress
How did you make that cute ruffled hem on the satin skirt? I’ve heard of a technique where you need some sort of plastic yarn and an overlock – did you do it that way?
Thank you so much for the complement, Carmen! That cute ruffled hem was a trim that I bought and sewed on. The trim had a thick nylon thread sewn into the bottom to make it ruffle out like that. You could probably take a piece of sheer fabric and some thick nylon thread and sew it to the bottom of the fabric with an overlocker to make it ruffle out. I should try that, good idea
I can only see little boxes with three shapes in them – are the pictures still stuck somewhere in the ether?

Fixed!
There’s a bunch of pictures I can’t see either. The first 3 are there and the next 4 are broken links. But your dress looks lovely!

Katherine, the dress looks really great! Looking forward to see the pictures with you wearing it at the wedding!!
Greetings from Germany right now,
